The hard drive does not store passwords in the computer or system's volatile memory making it far more secure than software encryption. Also, if it falls into the wrong hands, the hard drive will lock and require re-formatting after 20 failed password attempts. Compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems, the hard drive interface is USB 3.1 GEN 1 with USB-C connection for super-fast data transfer speeds*. The pack includes a USB-C to USB-A cable as well as a USB-A to USB-C adapter for connection to a range of devices. 5. This part number has 30 days limited DOA exchange warranty for replacement only with the same part. A few drives may have 90 days warranty which you can confirm. The item might have other warranties like manufacturer, service, or extended warranty that you can affirm with the sales department.
6. All equipment sold are bulk equipment without any drivers and cd included. If you need a driver or CD installation for a particular part/item please call to confirm availability.
7. Our online shipping calculator is based to compute shipping for memory, hard drive and different items that are under 5 lbs. It may not calculate the right shipping cost of items that are in excess of 5 lbs. Kindly call us to confirm before you submit the order for items that are heavyweight in shipping.
