The SAS / SATA technology offers a performance improvement over traditional SCSI connections. Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) are point-to-point serial peripheral interfaces in which controllers are linked directly to disk drives. This technology supports full-duplex signal transmission up to 6Gb/s. SAS devices can communicate with both SAS and SATA devices. A key difference between SAS and SATA devices is, that SAS devices can have two data ports, of which each resides in a different SAS domain. This enables complete failover redundancy. 5. This part number has 30 days limited DOA exchange warranty for replacement only with the same part. A few drives may have 90 days warranty which you can confirm. The item might have other warranties like manufacturer, service, or extended warranty that you can affirm with the sales department.
6. All equipment sold are bulk equipment without any drivers and cd included. If you need a driver or CD installation for a particular part/item please call to confirm availability.
7. Our online shipping calculator is based to compute shipping for memory, hard drive and different items that are under 5 lbs. It may not calculate the right shipping cost of items that are in excess of 5 lbs. Kindly call us to confirm before you submit the order for items that are heavyweight in shipping.
